How toxic is your country? UK experts have assimilated all the necessary data to produce a colour-coded toxic map of the world, showing countries that are most damaging the environment and consequently our public health.
Experts compiled data on carbon-emissions, air pollution, energy consumption, renewable energy and air-quality. It appears that Saudi Arabia is ranked most toxic country, with additional oil-rich countries like Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates high on the list. In contrast, the least toxic countries are all to be found in Africa and include Kenya, followed by Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and Cameroon.
As recent fluctuations in global temperatures and associated weather have shown, these threats are very real, and not far-off (with lives already being lost). Let’s hope that the interest in renewables continue to escalate! Do your part wherever possible!
