CARGO-BOT

Gita is an autonomous vehicle created by Piaggio Fast Forward. At just over 50cm in height, it can move around independently at 22 miles per hour whilst carrying up to 20kgs of cargo through complex environments. Its inventors have also given it a personality to associate closely with humans.

Gita has a main compartment where it is possible to store a backpack, notebook computer and other everyday items. It is wrapped by large rubber tire treads that are in contrast to its shiny body. It has LED lights and cameras embedded over its body to for navigational purposes.

For larger loads, Piaggio is developing another cargo-bot called Kilo (able to carry 80-100 kgs). Gita as yet is not on public sale, however, Piaggio are continuing to develop and refine the cargo-bot for consumer applications. In the meantime, check out the vid to see its true potential.} else {
